The puropse of this website is to serve as a resource for philosophers who are interested in learning about, discussing, and supporting open-access publication of philsoophical research. There are a number of excellent sources up now, and I don't intend to try to replace or duplicate those (see the Resources link to the left). Rather, I aim to provide an easy-to-remember URL, and some little logos (see the What you can do link to the left) to assist in spreading the word and raising awareness. If you are not familiar with open-access initiatives, please start by reading the very short "What does open-access mean?" It is very brief, but addresses some very common misconceptions. More detailed information can be found on the Resources page linked on the left.
